Alex is the founder of ‘because I said I would’, the international social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. Sparked by the loss of his father, he began sending promise cards to anyone who requested them at no cost. Since his father’s passing on September 4th, 2012, ‘because I said I would’ has sent more than 2.3 million promise cards to over 150 countries. The story of his promises have been shared virally throughout social media and international news.
The Institute of Credentialing Excellence, or ICE, is a professional membership association that provides education, networking, and other resources for organizations and individuals who work in and serve the credentialing industry. ICE is a leading developer of standards for both certification and certificate programs and it is both a provider of and a clearing house for information on trends in certification, test development and delivery, assessment-based certificate programs, and other information relevant to the credentialing community.
Castle has been a sustaining member of ICE for 25 years. Many of our employees have served in volunteer posts across multiple committees, as well as presented on certification-related topics each year at its conference.
