How To Register
If you have not yet been approved by the New York State Board for Geology to sit for the upcoming examination, please visit http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/ to proceed with applying for eligibility to sit for the examination(s) with the New York State Board.
If you have already been approved by the New York State Board of Geology to test during the upcoming administration, to schedule for the examination for which you have been already approved by the New York State Board, you will need to submit your scheduling request and correct fee by the administration deadline of January 2, 2019 in order to be scheduled for the next examination in March 2019. You may schedule and submit your fee online at http://www.castleworldwide.com/NYSEDonline
IMPORTANT: In order to be admitted into the examination, please be sure that your first and last name written on this scheduling form matches your first and last name EXACTLY as it appears on your current, government-issued photo ID with your signature.
Candidates will only be admitted to the test site for which they have been scheduled by Castle. Candidates who have completed the scheduling process and are deemed eligible by the New York State Education Department will receive an admission letter in their online scheduling account approximately two (2) weeks prior to the exam date.
Please note that all fees paid to Castle in relation to this examination application are nonrefundable, unless the written cancellation request is received at Castle at least 60 days prior to the examination date; you may email requests to email@example.com. Fees are nontransferable from administration to administration. A $40.00 processing fee will be incurred for all examination cancellations. Cancellation requests received after the noted cancellation deadline will not be honored and failure to appear for your examination will result in the forfeiture of your scheduling fee. Candidates are responsible to verify that Castle has received the requests by the appropriate deadline.

For exams taken during the October 2017 administration and after, candidates must submit a Request for Additional Score Report. The cost for an additional score report is $20.00 and payment may be made by check, money order, or credit card. Completed forms may be returned to Castle with payment via mail, e-mail or fax.
