  • How To Register

    If you have not yet been approved by the New York State Board for Pharmacy to sit for the upcoming examination, please visit http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/ to proceed with applying for eligibility to sit for the examination with the New York State Board.

    If you have already been approved by the New York State Board for Pharmacy to test during the upcoming administration, to schedule for the examination for which you have been already approved by the New York State Board, you will need to submit your scheduling request and correct fee by the administration deadline in order to be scheduled for the next examination. The deadline for scheduling is November 1st for the January administration, and April 1st for the June administration. You may schedule and submit your fee online at http://www.castleworldwide.com/NYSEDonline.

    If you prefer to pay by check, print a current Scheduling Form (using the link at the bottom of this section) to mail to Castle, postmarked by the dates noted above.

    IMPORTANT:  In order to be admitted into the examination, please be sure that your first and last name in your scheduling request matches your first and last name EXACTLY as it appears on your current, government-issued photo ID with your signature.

    Candidates will only be admitted to the test site for which they have been scheduled by Castle.  Candidates who have completed the scheduling process and are deemed eligible by the New York State Education Department will receive an admission letter in their online scheduling account approximately two (2) weeks prior to the exam date.

    Please note that seating at your selected site is NOT guaranteed. Candidates will only be admitted to the test site for which they have been scheduled by Castle.

    Refund Requests:
    Please note that all fees paid to Castle in relation to this examination application are nonrefundable, unless the written cancellation request is received at Castle at least 30 days prior to the examination date; you may email requests to testing@castleworldwide.com. Fees are also nontransferable from administration to administration. A $40.00 processing fee will be incurred for all examination cancellations. Cancellation requests received after the noted cancellation deadline will not be honored and failure to appear for your examination will result in the forfeiture of your scheduling fee. Candidates are responsible to verify that Castle has received the requests by the appropriate deadline.

    Scheduling is now offered online at http://www.castleworldwide.com/NYSEDonline. If unable to submit your scheduling request online, you may print and mail a Scheduling Form to Castle.  The Scheduling Form can be accessed by clicking on the Pharmacy Exam Scheduling Form.
