  • How To Register

    To be admitted into the examination you must meet the New York State eligibility requirements and have submitted your application and fees for licensure to the New York State Education Department. Visit http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/pharm/pharmlic.htm for more information.

    If you have already applied for licensure to the New York State Education Department, you will need to submit your scheduling request and correct fee to Castle Worldwide by the deadline. Do not wait for confirmation from the New York State Education Department before submitting your application to Castle Worldwide, as no prior confirmation is given. The scheduling deadline for the January exam is November 1st. The scheduling deadline for the June exam is April 1st. You may schedule and submit your fee online at http://www.castleworldwide.com/NYSEDonline.

    IMPORTANT:  In order to be admitted into the examination, please be sure that your first and last name in your scheduling request matches your first and last name EXACTLY as it appears on your current, government-issued photo ID with your signature.


    Candidates will only be admitted to the test site for which they have been scheduled by Castle.  Candidates who have completed the scheduling process and are deemed eligible by the New York State Education Department will receive an admission letter in their online scheduling account approximately two (2) weeks prior to the exam date.

    Please note that seating at your selected site is NOT guaranteed. Candidates will only be admitted to the test site for which they have been scheduled by Castle.

    Refund Requests:
    Please note that all fees paid to Castle in relation to this examination application are nonrefundable, unless the written cancellation request is received at Castle at least 30 days prior to the examination date; you may email requests to testing@castleworldwide.com. Fees are also nontransferable from administration to administration. A $40.00 processing fee will be incurred for all examination cancellations. Cancellation requests received after the noted cancellation deadline will not be honored and failure to appear for your examination will result in the forfeiture of your scheduling fee. Candidates are responsible to verify that Castle has received the requests by the appropriate deadline.
